Nicole C. Strasser (born in Munich, Germany) is a multidisciplinary artist and director based in Lisbon, Portugal. Working across immersive media, XR, painting, and murals, she is best known for creating immersive spaces that foster communal experiences of modern rituals and ceremonies. Her practice combines digital environments—shaped by analog textures and techniques—with traditional media, particularly black ink and markers.

Her subject matter reflects a deep engagement with mysticism, spirituality, esotericism, the female gaze, and witchcraft. Characterized by bold contrasts and delicate linework, her analog works explore the interplay of strong forms and refined details. Influenced by art nouveau, Japanese print and ink traditions, and Egyptian iconography, her visual language often incorporates recurring motifs such as flowers, sacred geometry, and architectural structures reminiscent of ancient temples and gardens. These elements form a consistent narrative throughout her projects and series.

Nicole C. Strasser has participated in numerous exhibitions and projects, including THE HUB SchwabingDigital Lab (ArtMuc, Munich, 2019), VR Lab (Medientage, Munich, 2020), Cosmic Hive (Pathos, Munich, 2021), INCorporated Art Fair (Hamburg, 2021), Critical Spaces (Gallery Digital Art Space, Munich, 2022), Hyperreality Premiere (Schwere Reiter, Munich, 2022), and Hyperreality (Theaterhalle am Dom, Würzburg, 2025). Her projects have also been featured in international film festivals and XR labs, including Stereopsia Booster Lab (Brussels, 2022), GIFF (Geneva, 2022), New Images (Paris, 2022), VR Days (Rotterdam, 2022), and the European Creators Lab (2019 and 2021).
